Everything we do is built on three interconnected pillars

    We safeguard the stories, histories, and creative legacies of Black and culturally diverse communities in Ireland. Through archiving, publishing, and storytelling, we make sure our voices are recognised, remembered, and accessible for generations to come.

  • We create (The hub)

    We bring culture to life through events, exhibitions, showcases, workshops, and collaborative projects. Our creative hub nurtures artists, sparks new ideas, and invites communities and organisations to connect through shared experiences of creativity and storytelling.

  • We build (Infrastructure)

    We design tools and form partnerships that support long-term change. From our digital marketplace to institutional collaborations and global exchanges, we’re building the infrastructure needed to make creativity accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

Our Village Archive is a home for creative collaboration, cultural storytelling, and community-building. Born in Ireland and rooted in the work of Black and culturally diverse artists, it exists to nurture deep connections between artists and communities and to build inclusive systems that support creativity, care, and collective growth across these communities.

Established in 2025, OVA is a platform built for artists, by artists.

With expertise spanning across creative direction and event production, OVA supports creatives seeking development and visibility, organisations aiming to build genuine community access, and brands looking for impactful campaigns and curated events.

Through artist representation, intercultural consultancy, and authentic collaborations, OVA preserves and amplifies diverse stories while helping partners achieve meaningful results.
